This 5 week course is designed to get you upto speed on using the Library and Develop Modules, we run seperate workshops covering the Book and Print Module designed for people who have a reasonable grasp of the Library and Develop module or who have been on this course. We don’t see much use in the Map and Web Modules but are happy to cover these if there is a demand, please enquire.
Over the 5 weeks the lessons will cover the following
The Basic Panel in the Develop Module, which includes Colour, Black&White, White Balance, Cropping, Spot Removal, Presets and Filters allowing you to get started editing your images.
How to finese all of the tools you’ve been using from the Basic Panel to elevate you photos beyond the basic settings and to using the Graduated/Radial Filters and the Adjusmtent Brush
The library module showing you how to organise your images so that you waste very little time searching for images and more time editing the images, we will also cover exporting your images.
Speeding up your workflow through the use of Presets, Copying and Pasteing Settings and Sync/Auto-Sync and Previous.
Additional Panels in the Develop Module and show you how to get images into and back from Photoshop. In photoshop we will show you how to do spot retouching of photos that are unsuitable for using the Spot Removal Tool in Lightroom.
After the first 2 weeks we will take a break of a week so you have plenty time to put into practice what you have learnt and allowing you to raise any questions over what has already been covered.
We will be using mostly images supplied by yourselves so that you can see how to edit real world images and not shots taken specifically to illustrate a tool that you will never come across in your own workflow.
